This is the process
- To apply for PAN card online, you have to go to the Income Tax Department's e-Filing Portal. Go to Instant PAN through Aadhaar section on this portal and click on the Quick Links on the left.
- Click on the Get New PAN option on the same page.
- After clicking here you have to enter your Aadhaar number and enter the captcha code after generating OTP. The OTP will then be sent to your registered mobile number, which you must validate.
- Next step is to validate the base details.
- You also need to validate the E-mail ID to apply for a PAN card.
- After validating the e-KYC data from the Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI), you will be given an instant PIN. In total, you do not even have to spend 10 minutes to complete this process.
- Next step you can easily download your PAN card in PDF format after clicking on the Check Status / Download PAN option. If your E-mail ID is registered in your Aadhaar database then you will be sent a new e-PAN to E-mail as well.
